BRADFORD W. BAILEY, HARDIN COUNTY PROSECUTOR:

1.         Why am I seeking elected office?

I seek a second a second term to complete the accomplishments began in the first term.  I have updated our file system, computer system, our investigation procedures, case intake procedures, and we have successfully cut out worthless repetitive procedures.  This progress has also been coupled with success in the office has also been carried over into the courtroom.  This office has never lost a jury trial we presented during my term in office.  I have an open mind and my office door is always open to anyone who has a concern or question.

2.         What qualifies me to hold this office?

I believe that 29 years of legal experience adequately qualifies me to again lead the office of the Hardin County Prosecuting Attorney. Twenty-two of those years I was either the County Prosecutor, Assistant County Prosecutor or the County-wide misdemeanor prosecutor.  I am a very seasoned trial attorney and my experience includes over 200 jury trials.

3.         What is my vision for this office and how will that vision help the citizens of Hardin County?

My vision is to continue to expand the use of the internet and countywide notification billboards.  I have plans to increase the ways we seek assistance and information from the public in apprehending suspects and fugitives from justice.  I also plan on having civil information systems available on the prosecutor website, [www.hardincountyprosecutor.com], for township and county department access for guidance and forms necessary to aid them in their functions.  This will increase individual and department productivity and efficiently cut down the turn-around time on projects. Saving taxpayer dollars and providing excellent service are high priorities.

4.         Why should the Republican Party be the choice of the citizen’s of Hardin County?

The Republican Party historically has been associated with a conservative philosophical manner of thinking.  Also, the Republican Party traditionally has led the way with promoting conservative fiscal responsibility.  My office is run with saving tax dollars in mind and efficiently getting the job done in less time, with less waste, man power, and effort; thus saving the county money.

5.         What else would I like the citizen’s of Hardin County to know about me?

I was raised in Hardin County and Hardin County is my home. I have practiced law exclusively in Hardin County since 1979 when I was licensed by the State of Ohio to practice law.  I have not relocated or practiced outside this county. All of my prosecutorial experience is in Hardin County or in out of county courts fighting for Hardin County interests.  It is my honor and privilege to serve as your Hardin County Prosecutor and I once again ask for the opportunity to continue serving you in a second term.
